Annual Fire Safety Statements
Under Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulations (2000), fire fighting equipment must be checked and audited annually, and you must possess appropriate fire safety certificates (your personal residence is exempt). Both the inspections and certification must be done by an authorised person, which our staff are obviously qualified for.
Our inspection staff will keep track of your inspection and certification needs, alert you when required inspection or expiry dates are nearing, and can organise a hassle free inspection process. These certificates quantify your equipment inventory, and verify to the various statutory authorities that your gear is in working order.
While conducting our inspection we can check, service (or replace) your extinguishers, fire doors, fire indicator panels, hoses and reels, lights and signage, smoke detectors and additional equipment. We provide a one-supplier service to you so your entire Annual Fire Safety Statement needs can be quickly and affordably met.
Once all the required inspections have been completed, the issuing of an Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) Council Certificate costs just $70 (ex).
